He also services a wide range of industries including professional services, manufacturing, non-profit organizations and entertainment. Barry provides advisory services to not-for-profits in areas such as Board of Directors education, development and fundraising and tax planning regarding unrelated business income tax (UBIT) and exposure to intermediate sanctions. Barry has given various seminars to the not-for-profit community on a variety of topics including the new Form 990 and Board Governance. Additionally, Barry often advises closely-held service organizations in the area of business and tax planning as well as high net worth individuals in the areas of tax planning and strategizing. Barry has been known to give “tax tips” on local Boston radio stations.
