PMN
was proud to once again participate
in Christmas
in the City 2009 (CITC). Barry
Chait, a Senior Tax Manager at
PMN, was on hand for
the festivities, his 15th year
volunteering for the event.
Christmas in the City is a not-for-profit, 100%
volunteer organization, founded by
Jake and Sparky Kennedy in 1989,
which supports and mentors Boston’s
homeless families. Each child received a gift
from their “wish list.” The
party has now expanded
to welcome
2,800 homeless children
and their parents. With
the help of hundreds of
volunteers, children
spent the
afternoon playing in a “Winter
Wonderland” filled
with rides, ponies, moon
bouncers, and of course
Santa Claus. In
addition to the gift from
their “wish
list”, each child
also received a stuffed
animal,
hats, gloves, scarves and
educational books. Parents
and children were able
to enjoy ice
cream from Taylor Freezer
and Rosev Dairy Foods and
a nice
holiday meal.
