Daniel Brennan, Senior Manager, was recently elected to the board of directors of the Italian Home for Children, located in Jamaica Plain, MA. He has served as an advisor to the Italian Home since September, 2009, serving on both the finance and audit committees.
The Italian Home for Children is a residential and day treatment facility for at-risk children of all races, nationalities and religions. This child welfare organization offers a comprehensive network of programs and services to children ages 4-14 which includes 24 hour care, specialized educational services and in home therapy. Many of these children may have learning disabilities or emotional, behavioral and mental health concerns brought on by trauma in their home, school or community. Unfortunately, many children and families are faced with overcoming these situations alone, but with help from the Italian Home, these issues are oftentimes resolved. The Italian Home for Children provides its services to hundreds of at-risk children from Boston every year.
