Partners Attend IGAF Polaris Conference
David St.Yves and Gary Soiref, partners at Parent, McLaughlin & Nangle, attended the IGAF Polaris Conference held January 3-6 , 2012 in Orlando, FL.
Dave attended the 7th Annual Business Assurance Conference where important issues in Audit & Accounting, Internal Control Review, Systems Review and Risk Assessment were covered in various sessions held during the 4 day conference, including topics on working effectively internationally, revenue recognition, IFRS update, and an economic view of real estate.
Gary attended the 32nd Annual Tax Conference. Key issues discussed were SALT, Federal and Estate Tax topics, energy deductions, current issues in International tax, tax practice management and tax planning ideas.
