Two PMN Employees Participate in Walks for Charity
Shannon Bollin, Tax Manager, will be participating in the Hearts & Hands Walk for Autism and Family Fun Day on September 24 to raise money for Community Autism Resources Incorporated. Shannon is walking for her son, Drew, who was diagnosed with autism when he was two. All proceeds from the walk will benefit the free services that Community Autism Resources provides to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families. Stephanie Tenczar, Tax Senior, will be walking in the 23rd annual Boston Jimmy Fund Walk on September 18 to raise money to treat and prevent cancer in children and adults. She is walking in memory of Rylie Cruz, a 3-year old daughter of a friend of hers, who endured a 16-month long battle with Neuroblastoma, yet succumbed to the disease in April of this year. Donations received in her name will be designated specifically towards the research of Neuroblastoma, a cancer that most commonly occurs in children under the age of 5.
